Hello, I’m Robert, a native English teacher from the UK. I’ve lived in Thailand for nearly 20 years and speak fluent Thai.

I studied English at Queen Mary University of London, then moved to Bangkok, where I taught English at Ek Burapa School for 13 years. I’ve taught hundreds of Thai students, from young beginners to confident speakers, and I understand the challenges Thai learners face, from pronunciation to grammar to the confidence to speak.

I then spent four years as Senior Editor at Aksorn Charoen Tat, one of Thailand’s leading educational publishers, where I led a team writing English textbooks for Thai schools from primary to secondary level. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the Thai curriculum and how to make English clear, engaging and easy to remember.

I’m patient, friendly and encouraging, and I believe everyone can learn English with the right support. My aim is to help you enjoy learning, speak with confidence and reach your goals.

My lessons are relaxed, practical and built around you. I spent 13 years teaching English at a Bangkok school and 4 years writing English textbooks for Aksorn, so I know exactly how Thai learners pick up English and where they tend to get stuck.

Every course starts with a short chat to understand your level and goals. Then each lesson follows a simple structure:

Warm-up conversation to get you speaking from the start
New language: vocabulary, grammar or pronunciation, explained clearly with real examples
Practice through role-plays, games, reading or writing tasks, depending on your needs
Review and feedback, so you know what you did well and what to work on next

For children, I use games, songs and activities to keep lessons fun and active. For adults, I focus on real situations such as conversation, work emails, meetings, travel and interviews.

As a native British speaker with fluent Thai, I can explain difficult points in Thai when needed, which helps beginners feel comfortable and progress faster.

I teach:
